3 Best Purchases I Made in 2023

This year was special and full of new purchases  🤩

I moved to a new place, officially embracing the art of adulting.

I am not fond of shopping but I had to start buying every single thing from scratch.

But here are my super favorite 3 purchases of 2023 that made my home office a perfect place!

✅ Bekant Standing Desk (44k)

Given the sedentary lifestyle that we live, it’s not far when our body will be screaming out due to neck pain or back pain.

Many of my friends are already facing it. Some of them got serious muscle ruptures too.

Got an automatic adjustable table which allows me to stand half of my work hours.

It’s an energy boost, a productivity rocket, and a protector of my back and neck. Worth every penny! 💪🏻

✅ Monitor (12k)

I said goodbye to my one tiny laptop screen!

I connected a monitor and unleashed the power of a dual monitor setup.

My work speed and productivity went from snail to cheetah 🐆

If you’re still working on a laptop alone, you’re missing out, my friend. It’s a game-changer.

Honestly, I hate working while traveling now. I just loveeeeee my setup so much now!

✅ HealthifyMe Smart Scale (1.5k)

This ain’t your old weighing scale.

It syncs with my HealthifyMe app and tracks 12 body metrics. Weight, body fat, muscle mass— you name it.

It’s like having a personal physician and dietician. Affordable and eye-opening!

Sure, building my home office burned a hole in my wallet, but no regrets.

Why? Because I practically live here for one-third of my day! 😅

Working from home has its perks, and one of them is creating a workspace as per our need.

Ergonomic chair, standing desk with a cool dual monitor attached to ergonomic gadgets.

Nope. No corporate office can compete with my setup. Because it is customized for my comfort and productivity 😌

✍ TODAY’S ACTION ITEM

Nothing specific or immediate today.

Whenever you can, invest well to boost productivity. Your future self will thank you! 🌟

✔ WHAT I DID THIS WEEK

Went to Mumbai Darshan with relatives last Friday and spent a day roaming around the famous tourist spots of Mumbai. I have spent at least one whole day at each of those spots but squeezing it all into one day? Yeah, it’s a different kind of chaotic fun 🚌

It feels different to look at our own city as a tourist.

Watched this thriller movie called “Old.” on Netflix. It’s about people who plan a trip that takes a dark turn on a mysterious beach. They start getting old at extremely fast speed. It’s a one-time watch. Liked the concept of the movie 🏝️

Then I attended a friend’s wedding in Pune. Remember those carefree college days? Now we’re all grown-up and taking responsibilities of life. Life’s funny that way 😅
