I Learned These 30+ Recipes in 6 Months [Guide For Bachelors]

I shifted to a new place last year and started scratching my head on the first day – β€œwhat do I eat?”

Searched on YouTube
Watched hundreds of videos
Learned and tried a few recipes
Burned, messed up and undercooked

Once I mentioned how I feel cooking is a life skill.

In about 6 months, I gained good confidence to cook for myself.

Now it’s systemized. My everyday dinner doesn’t take more than 20 minutes now.

You might be wondering, β€œwhy is this weirdo talking about cooking today?”

I document and share my learnings through these letters.

So I decided to curate all the EASY-PEASY recipes I learned so far.

Now I can prepare 30+ dishes just using a combination of 7 main ingredients!

This letter is different and dedicated to all those bachelors who can barely cook.

I am 100% sure this letter will help them save hundreds of hours.

(I have even shared my experience-based tips at some places)

At any given time, you should have these 7 ingredients stored at your place to never run out of delicious ideas! πŸ˜‰

  • Rice
  • Pulses & Legumes
  • Onions
  • Potatos
  • Milk
  • Eggs (if you’re eggetarian)
  • Oil & Spices – turmeric, red chilli powder, asafoetida (hing), coriander power, cumin seeds (jeera), mustard seeds (sarso), salt

Other items are optional and you can keep adding them based on specific dishes.

I don’t have a refrigerator at my home. So my core requirement is to have all ingredients that can survive well for long time in cool and dry place without refrigeration.
